If you want to give the alloy parts a thorough clean use brake cleaner from your local halfords etc. make sure u remove all the plastics and rubbers though as it will perish em. Make sure you put all the rubber o rings in a little plastic bag and squirt a good blob of ae green slime in the bag. Rub the orings around in the slime. Then leave ten mins. This allows the slime to sink into the rubber. It causes the rubber to swell thus creating a better seal. You also now have a seal that is self lubricating. As for the small orings for the shock bleed screws. Throw them away. You get a better seal with nothing. Just nip the screw up well.
