I tend to agree with the good man before me (Origineelreclamebord) who I personally know to be both wise and honourable.
Leaving the personal disappointment and politics aside, I think the blue anodising looks fine - if nothing else it will be unique without being quite as stand-out as the gold.
Persevere, it's a fabulous chassis and you'll enjoy it once it's complete.
