Just had my other Savox last night go wonky on me. This was the 1251 in my DEX410. Again its the control pot that has failed. In the car the steering will go 100% both ways fine, but on the track and under load it washes out on right hand turns. On investigating if i go full right, the push on the servo horn towards left the horn moves and the servo motor kicks in. Do the same with servo full left and push the horn right and its fine. Took the servo apart and behold the same fault. The centre line of the pot has moved so that it stops the motor at approx 20deg after centre.
Lost faith in this product now. They can't take the knocks it seems. The servo saver on the DEX410 was also set loser thatn described in the manual to protect the servo as well.
Now trying to find someone to get a Futaba that isnt going to destroy my bank balance
