ESC or motor is overheating?... and what temperature?
That gearing should not overheat a brushless motor. I have the same drivetrain (18T center pulleys & 37T F&R pulleys) and gearing with an Orion Vortex 6.5. My temps after a 5 minute race stay about 130-140*F (someone else can convert that to Celcuis for me
