Got to be a big electrics you have if both the receiver and ESC won't fit in the chassis. If the receiver doesn't fit have you tried the ESC there and the receiver behind the motor.

The problem i have if i put the receiver behind the motor is running the receiver wire over the motor. By the time the wire goes through the antenna hole and up through the antenna tube it is very short, plus i dont wanna have it going over the motor because of heat.
