As much as I sometimes don't like to, you have to dive into problems. Yesterday I received the Azarashi top decks in the mail, so I decided to replace the rear top deck right away. I remembered seeing (what I thought was) a bent left front CV/drive shaft after racing last Sunday. Looking last night, one of the CV pins was hanging out a good ways!
Sure enough, the tiny grub screw was loose and the front caster block was actually preventing the pin from coming out... it's nice that is round in there isn't it?
So, the wobbly shaft was probably due to the loose CV connection, even though I did not put a battery in it and spin the drivetrain to check (I can do that when I race next on Thrusday). Finally, I already ordered CV shafts but will end up keeping them as spares now.
Point being, don't be a dummy like me and order parts ya do not need!
