Solution??

(The reason I want to know is because I'd like to finish my lazers using vintage pinions of the same size, preferably 20-21t)

It should fit, reposition the motor using the other two holes on the can. Otherwise contact RW racing and get a 98 t spur gear, using the version i designed as a template. Im guessing you have the hyper clutch. Fyi Bob Gammon used a 99 once in a while, but i found it didnt suit me.
