First time I have heard of any problems with FRSky receivers. I have three, all have performed faultlessly in 12th, GT10 and GT12 cars. I run mine on the HRS setting in my 3VC and no problems.
Did anyone using these have either:
Both aerials up the same mast OR
Took one aerial out.
Aerials should be at 90deg to each other - one vertical, one horizontal. That mimics the Futaba receiver that has the horizontal one inside the receiver and the vertical one on the 'wire'. If you take one aerial out then you run the risk that you don't have the 90 deg set-up and it may fail to reject some spurious signals. HTH
