I've been doing a bit of research on radios over last couple of days as I am having a few problems with my KO/Frsky and thinking about getting one of these 2 mid-spec radios as a replacement/back-up.
Don't think you will go wrong with either - both got more functions than any of us mortals will ever need and both from brands with reputation for quality. I'd probably be swayed just to the Sanwa as you can pick one up for £160 posted from one of the sponsors at top of this page even if as Roger says it is not exactly attractive.
One point you might want to consider is the cost of additional receivers if you are comparing the £175 used futaba with 2 receivers to a new one. Original manufacturers receivers for both of these are in the £80-100 region so if you run more than one car or want to carry a spare this is a big chunk extra.
Hoping to sort the KO out tonight so I don't have to buy either!!
