To be honest, its been great that you have put so much effort into giving the youngsters plenty of encouragement.

I think what you did with the marshalling stickers was very good, you gave them some pointers as to how to stay safe, but also rewarded them. Must admit the stickers were great, very professional. So much so, that we don't know where to stick it, its far too nice to waste!

Its hard toknow what else to do. On one hand i dont't agree with the every one is a winner mentality, life is competitive at the end of the day. But given the spread of abilty with the younger people its hard to assign levels.

The laps worked very well, but then we changed heat length for a bit and it went a bit to pot. Then we changed the track and its much twistier sonthe old laps don't apply. If we did that again i would be happy, rebaselined with the new track. If you want to reduce the certifacte giving, maybe make the levels wider, 4/5 laps. Or keep the 3 laps, given the track is tighter.

As martin said, the kids love getting stuff for achieving, even if its small and cheap, they will really appreciate it.
