I really don't get the hate for c/e clips on here.
They are a well understood, standard design with masses (millions) of applications in production. Yet a few geeks, nerds and rc racers don't seem to be able to get the hang of them.
I only use a gear diff as I prefer it. The ball diff went together first time, took 20 mins to set up/bed in then ran for a couple of months with out being touched and is now in a mattress spares box (ready to run when he wants it).

Most of you rely on c/e clips every day. Wouldn't thing you could find many mechanical consumer goods with out a few in....
