The motor has a heat sink on it and it is geared as it was out of the box. lots of others are using the same car and motor set up with the same gearing with no problems but I am using a different esc. The one that came with it was a all in one rx + esc but I want to use my own radio so I had to chage both. It does seem to be the esc causing the problems but why? Is it possible that if I am using the wrong amp esc it could damage the motor?
