There's a hefty gap to be exploited at the lower end of the market and all it takes is for one brave distributor to break ranks.
If a
decent spec £35 (for example) lipo was approved that distributor would probably be able to sell more than they could get their hands on. Other distributors would either have to follow that lead or lose sales, either by submitting existing budget cells or making the price tag of their premium products more appealing.
Who knows, before long we could have almost have a free market economy in EB approved lipos and many of the club racers that currently source gear elsewhere would start spending money with UK shops again.
Anyway, back on topic. Thanks for the list Nathan, my 2010 cells are still on it at least
