- Give the tyre bead and rim a wipe over with motor spray to ensure they are free of grease.
- Fit the tyre to the rim, ensuring the bead is properly seated on the rim.
- If using thin glue, use a rubber band to hold the tyre onto the rim (superglue works best if the joint is as tight as possible)
- Apply glue to the bead and carefully rotate the tyre so it runs all the way round, capillary action will get the glue into the bead.
- Allow to dry, then repeat on the other side.
