I run an alturn aas750mg which is pretty torquey and can easily keep up with a savox. But, its £18 not £60! Saddles, when put end to end are the same as sticks. A bit taller maybe, but not a problem. BEC is battery elimination circuit, you can read in depth if you google it. BTW lipos are not as dangerous as some say, nimh is worse
