Pidge, in answer to your statements in your response to my previous post ....
Firstly I think the jump looks cool ... did I not say that???? I meant to!!! I like jumps like that one where you can drive it and set the car down nice and controlled on a proper lander ramp .... as you say like the US tracks. This is one of the reasons I really wanted to make it to CML .. to drive the jumps. Anybody can wedge a bit of plywood at an angle but that is not a good jump ... what Andy has built looks smooth!
As for the club racing comment I've not lived with in an hours drive of a club that runs 1/10th off road cars since I moved out of the London area in 2002 (used to go to the Watford club on a thursday and in all honesty they stopped running buggy's in any number in about 2000). There are no clubs that I know of in the southern part of the west mids or northern half of the south west that run 1/10th off-road. If anybody can find me one, within an hours drive of Cheltenham (an off-road racers desert) then I will defiantely go racing there!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the clubs seem to run is boring car and, if your really lucky, micros with basic jumps. The whole reason I bought a micro was that there are no 1/10th off-road clubs around
Seems similar around Glypo's way by his response.
As for the 3.5A charge rate I run that as it's the lowest that I can normally get away with and I am seriously worried that a cell will let go on me and hurt somebody. Comes from being a health and safety bod I guess!!! If I could have bought any other cells than IB4200s I would have done but they simply were not available when I needed to purchase cells. That being the case I feel I have to treat them with respect and a healthy dose of concern.
I don't think anybody has said anything negative about the MK GP ..... I certainly haven't ...... just trying to clarify a few things so I understand what to expect and have a good days racing.
I for one am really looking forward to it!!!!!! I certainly didn't mean to uspest anybody.
