well first things first is what track will you be racing on??? What surface how big etc etc.

As for speedo and motor the lrp motor's are not that good the orion/peak and novak motors are more reliable. Also the nosram speedo's are exsactly the same as the lrp ones just about 25 pound cheaper.

As for the decition between the tc and the competion speedo's i would go with the TC vertion but with a diffrent motor a 3.5 is a touring car motor far to fast for a buggy i would recomend getting LRP sphere tc verion/Nosram matrix TC verion and a orion/peak 6.5 motor or a 7.5 motor if you are new to the sport as for gearing you will need to get a range of pinions and get a good starting point off someone and then work from there to make it suit your track and how you like it to feel.
