Put the gearbox casings together with the front screws in place and make sure there is no up and down movement.
That shaft is alloy and does ware

Cool thank Tony.
I forgot to say that the shaft is new as well. Basically the gears stripped the other night when racing and I've replaced everything that I thought may have caused movement.
Ill check it all when its back together.
