Dont agree fully with that Dave.
Newcomers i think need to feel competent at a club level ie. ( drive a race without crashing) before moving on to compete in a national etc.
Yes the big events are more challenging and fun but they have to have the numbers to be so.
If you go to a National you want to compete not just make up the numbers.
You will definately learn more competing against 20 drivers at a club round than 3 or 4 all a lap apart at a national !

Dont take this the wrong way as there is a definite need for national`s etc but this class is only taking off now so lets all work at it to further the interest and do what is best for the sport.
