was speaking to mick o'leary about the Irish nats..I would like them all to be at the naul..as re-hashed 1/8 tracks are useless..but apparently naul doesn't measure up as the rules state..??...I was told its to do with the lane width..personally I don't care about that..if we all can race on it and we all enjoy it who cares .its the only real venue weve got.
you had a really good turn out which is great..at the nationals outside of naul last year we had hardly enough to cover marshaling and this year won't be any different..
I agree. I was at all of the national rounds last year: The first round at the naul was excellent, I thought the ballymena track was great but the turnout was terrible, Navan was a demolition derby and in fairness griffen was a great day (Lucky with weather) but light enough on bodies too.
The 8 car 2wd modified final was fine at the Naul yesterday....even with me as a mobile chicane with a loose servo saver and an inch of steering travel being lapped by Mark every 2 laps.
I see no reason why attendance would be higher at the 8th scale tracks this year and in fairness it is the numbers racing that makes for a great day.......how far off is the naul from the min track width?
