Alcyon, I will sometime this year and as you know I am slow so cannot guarantee when but I am asking a favour from a friend to make me a mold of a new diff casing, and this will be to make it enclosed and sealable so we can use the durango diff oil. I have a design in my head and aim to at least test this by the end of the year if possible. If I can get it right then maybe we wont need to worry about sourcing Kyosho vintage bits for the diffs.
Lol, theres a shop here selling a whole stack of the diff cups i think about 7 pairs. anyway the new style gear diffs are a good idea. there is a plastic moulding company i know off but i am afraid the cost could be prohibitive if the volume isnt great enough. If the cost could be about U$D35 retail, and of course could make a profit out of each then its ok.
A standard spec-R touring car gear diff costs about that much.
