Mmmm I would advise differently. Stay with ball diffs and contact RC lazy for ceramic balls for thrust and diff. That will be far better. Also the gear diff drive cups wear out rather quickly and unless you can get these made out of a much stronger material then I would go for the ball diff.
Alcyon, I will sometime this year and as you know I am slow so cannot guarantee when but I am asking a favour from a friend to make me a mold of a new diff casing, and this will be to make it enclosed and sealable so we can use the durango diff oil. I have a design in my head and aim to at least test this by the end of the year if possible. If I can get it right then maybe we wont need to worry about sourcing Kyosho vintage bits for the diffs.
