You are better off running the car as kit with full time 4wd on our tracks than you are running the centre one way. The centre one way makes the car inconsistent on corner entry and gives lots of mid corner 'pivot', it seems to work well on broken up dirt/clay but thats about it.

You could always get the one way diff from *ahem* ebay *cough*

Don't worry about reliability, the diff I have in the car now I've been using for so long I can't remember and have never had a non-finish caused by it. The front gears are indestructable and even the standard black CVD's are almost impossible to break, if you are unlucky they might bend without the outdrive springs - but you will finish the race
