I think so - there was a great deal of talk about the mod soon after the TLR22 came out, but as you said, not heard/seen much about it since.
I have to agree with comments on a similar thread about the Cream weight - single biggest transformation to the car
Just need to get some blue front springs/pink rears, and maybe a bit of extra driving talent
