i use a soldering iron with what is basically a 5mm spade tip hammered out to form a spade type shape, and strips of similar plastic to melt into and fill damage, will never be as strong as new though. it helps to melt down into a break and then fill the hole with new plastic rather than just fill over the break. use in well ventilated area, it will make your eyes water even then sometimes
