Although I do love racing the trucks, you're more likely to get a good turnout for the buggies, especially at Yatton. We get some good truck races down there, but don't always run - with a buggy you're guaranteed to turn up and be able to race.
B4 would be a good choice, could always look at picking up a secondhand SC10 at some point in the future (often get good deals on them on ebay) then join in the truck fun
