It appears that the Losi belts do degrade quite badly over time (I can remember the original belts used to be a weak item anyway & would quite often snap) - a fellow RC10Talk.com member has recently completed a Street Weapon IWC rebuild - another ebay purchase, which when it arrived appeared to have had very little use, yet on the stripdown this is what was found;
Of course being a vintage R/C fan embarking on a re-build for shelf display you accept that you may find parts that have degraded &/or need replacing. To the less initiated who sees a car that can be stuffed full of the latest R/C gear for thrashing about, may not appreciate the car's vintage (especially of one that appears almost new!) Maybe dissapointed that the belts had turned to mush  |

Why must this continue with petty insults. 2 msgs insulting me is not really very wise. Believe me I know this car very well and I know a great deal of its history and information regarding Team Losi and the XX4. My problem is with the stating of New items that are not new, in fact are very old and you dont even bother checking this fact. My issue is with this fact, not lack of research or any info that you think you may have enlightened me with. You are not obviously as experienced as you believe. I have on "ASSUMED" THAT BY THE WORD NEW, YOU ACTUALLY MEAN THIS AND YOUR WORD CAN BE TRUSTED. OBVIOUSLY I ASSUMED WRONG. refund the 10pound to my paypal. Stop these cheap insults feigning your apparent superiority and DO THE RIGHT THING, THAT HAS BEEN MY PROBLEM. You will NOT bully me into being quiet about a bad sale on your behalf.
