Iīve used ebay for years, selling and buying. I have had only one problem with a guy that opened a case asking me a refund for a set of vintage shocks that didnīt arrive. I saw after a month this user selling "my set of shocks"
Probably you can find a scammer, may be not. I still use ebay and almost every people are honest like you and me.
By the way, here in Spain are scammers too, like everywhere
