Default most frequent damaged RC10B4 parts

##NOTE: to skip all the off topic stuff jump ahead to the smiley faces)##

I'm sorry if this question has already been asked a bazillion times (or even once before)
i'm a newb, and i'm not familiar with all the fancy Jargon.

it seems to me that everyone, or atleast a large majority of the people here live int he UK! awsome, i was born in Whales (Newport, Gwent to be more exact)

but now live in California

(oops i'm going off topic)

anyway, so i just recently bought a RC10B4 buggy from ebay, fully equipped with a Novak ss5800 brushless system.

(for those of you who saw that i said something similar AGES ago, the reason was that the person i bought it from neglected to send it (they forgot or something) so i've still been waiting, i just yesterday got word that they will be shipping *phew* so i plan to get it this tuesday! woo hoo)

(smiley?)
anyway. about the B4...

so being a beginner and all, i wanted to know what parts of the car are usually the weakest points? and what would be best to replace/upgrade/ clean on a used car? and i've seen all sorts of upgrades but i don't know what they actually do..

what is the benefit of having aluminum? titanium? or graphite? what do they all do?

i don't plan to spend much, and i don't plan to race.....yet.. more for recreation and just having fun....and not breaking it.. <_<

any suggestions are appreciated, even if they are costly, maybe i can start to save up for them now :]

sorry for the wordy post.. i guess i'm just a wordy person..

ps: if you could put things into layman's terms that would be great... pretend i don't know anything about the car and you will probably be correct most of the time :] (but I'm not stupid or anything)
