Why not? Here, we have a special cup called "TNT" where we race 30 minutes finals with electric touring cars aganist gas touring cars and electrics even win!
There's something in this hoby that I doesn't like at all:
When talking about gas cars everyone asume that you can stop at the pits, refuel and keep on racing. That's great. If you talk about doing the same with an electric car it's some kind of heresy. Fuel tanks capacity do not allow more than 6-7 minutes of running tank. Why an electric have to be able to run for half an hour with a single batery pack?
Let's be fair, if gas cars can refuel, electric would have to be able to do the same.
