Hi, yes flush between colours with water, but for thinning paint you need a pukka reducer. RCS should be able to sort you out.

I find keeping the needle tip/nozzle clean and paint correctly thinned very important when working on finer detail at lower pressures.

I use an Iwata HP SBS with a 0.5mm nozzle for almost everything.
