I have one. It's quite easy to both build and drive. I have proken (giggle) some stuff such as a front suspension arm through bad driving, diff balls, washers and a spur gear through forgetting how to set stuff up. My last 2WD cars were a Team Losi JRX2 (circa 1988) and a Schumacher Cougar (the original one in 1990).
I run the car with the mid motor setup indoors on carpet. There's not much room to move the motor in the mid configuration, so some dremeling is required to use smaller pinions than 20T. The rear front hinge pin brace needs some trimming as well as the rear battery stopper wedge thing.
RC10 spurs fit, as long as you use RC10 slipper pads and a TLR 22 slipper spring and some shims, which gives a wider range of spur gear sizes to choose from, which in turn solves the pinion size/dremeling of parts problem.
Precirotate makes the usual hop up parts, carbon this and anodized aluminium that. It remains to be seen if JConcepts and such companies starts making wheels and body shells to fit it.
