Are you already running lipos ?
I ran my ECX Boost (didn't want to get my x2c filthy, lol) with a 5000mah 30c Turnigy lipo with a £7 HPI 15T Fire bolt motor at our track last weekend & it flew, I was quite surprised tbh
If you're still using nimh's I'd try lipos first.
