I too got started with Tamiya, a TL01 Escort Cosworth then a string of cars over the years including M01, M03 & TT01
Recently I've gone through a phase of collecting some Tamiya F1 cars, started out with an F104 Pro which was second hand and has been mostly restored to as new condition. Currently a shelf queen.
Then a NIB F201 Ferrari F2001 and finally an F103 15th Anniversary also NIB. Not sure whether to build these up as shelf queens or put them away for a rainy day.
Got offered an F102 NIB earlier in the week but it was out of my price range.
Now focusing on something I can actually run/bash...
