iv since found out,its the wheel on my handset,it was sticking and not going back to the center,i took it to bits(as you do and thankfully the spring that shot out,was the only one inside it
)but it still happend,i took the cover off the center of the wheel,it has a screw in the center that has slowly done itself up,loosend it off abit and OOOOOOSSSSHHHHHH,nice and free
