Using a longer threaded ball stud with a nut behind will help with the plastic C hubs. Also pre thread them with a M3 tap.
If you want to cover spares just buy a Team C lupuz (TR02C)

That way you get all the spares you need including extra things like shock shafts, turnbuckles (although they are just the smooth ones), a body shell and an extra set of wheels
