Introducing a product that is a step back doesn't sell well in most cases - one of the few examples of that is products that call upon a certain nostalgia (like Tamiya re-re's).
Being that Xray is not the brand likely to introduce stuff that sells based on nostalgia, we are bound to have expectations and are eager to see the improvements they want to introduce in this hobby
