No inks and watercolour are both fine with frisk film over them, you have to prep the board by wiping it down with lighter fluid first so there are no greasy finger prints on it as the paint won't adhere if there are, then just work like normal. Make sure you don't touch the board with your hands though, if you do just wipe it ove with a kitchen tissue doused in lighter fluid and you'll be fine.
You can scratch back highlights and stuff. Also do you remember those old type writer rubbers ? You can still get them in pencil form, they're great for rubbing highlights out with !!!
