It would work. Check...

Bearing sizes - they are not standard so the rotor you want to fit might not fit the bearings in the motor you have.

Rotor clearance to the sensors - if the rotor fits the bearings the spacing may be different. If the end face of the rotor is too far from the sensors you are going to have issues. Once you have shimmed it correctly to the sensors, it might not allow you to fit the endplate. Rotor clearance to the sensors is key, don't bodge it!

Amount of shaft sticking out of the front of the motor - 'cause if it is not in the right place you might not be able to fit a pinion.

Providing you check these things there's no reason it won't work. It might not be BRCA legal for some classes, especially Stock classes, so check that too. HTH
