It is worth remembering that the superstar drivers will not only want but will also be able to hang on to a much more wild & aggressive setup than even a good f2 standard driver.

It is interesting to note that with a recent setup I sent Tony he said looking at it he expected it would be very aggressive & have masses of steering where as, for my driving style at least, it is actually much more stable & locked in than the small bore setup he gave me to try... a couple of people who have tried both agree.... one didn't.

I've always said what Tony has above, for the majority the extra confidence given by a good big bore setup is worth real time over a race distance & until you've got to the point where ALL of your laps are within 0.1 of each other then I doubt your fastest will be any slower on big bores either!

The moral here is don't just follow other peoples lead with setups, it's as personal as what you find attractive in the opposite sex.
Along with Tony, Kev & Nick I am more than happy to help people work out a personal setup .. just need to know what setup you start with, how you want the car to feel different and add a little bit of time. Reminds me, I need to get some more setups for the RB6 to Arno .....
