4 Wheel drive will be faster round the track (not much), todays batteries can handel just about whatever you put in any car (easy), maintenance - its more likely to be what you break (crash roll etc), 2 wheel drive less bits = less maintenance (but not a lot)
B4, everybody had or has one these 2 wheel drive cars, look at the B44, nice new 4 wheel drive to match your B4, get down your local track see whats being used, secondhand can often be a good buy.
Main difference 2 or 4 wheel drive is obviously the way they drive, pushing and pulling in corners and jumping------its all fun.
