I recommend the majority of the racers stay with Big Bore shocks.
The BBs land off big jumps very nicely with X gear springs, they absorb bumps very well indeed and will enhance your lap times through consistency of clean qualifying runs.
At the very top level of racing, small bores can be quicker at times but for sure a higher level of driving skill is required to see the advantages of a Small Bore shock.
Team Kyosho always look for consistent set ups as well as the very quickest ones hense why some of us are testing difference scenarios....

ps - I was running BBs at the weekend and certainly wasn't a million miles off the pace
