I used the rtr chassis (soft plastic)
yes you do have to use the shell as the side pods are a different shape
and yes you would have to change the setup after round 4 i increased the front and rear oil by 2.5wt to compinsate for the extra weight i found with the alu chassis the car would feel lazy to change direction.
however there is no reason the original chassis or a alu +8mm to be any slower as jorn is proving as we speak he is running a +8mm today.
