By the time you buy all the parts to do the conversion, it would be better to by the actual CXL.
I updated my CX as much as I could but when it came to the new anti roll bars, steering etc the cost made the new car a better option.
If you get the chance to drive the CXL you will see difference in how it drives, handling and steering especially. If you aren't already using the gear diff then it alone will make a big difference to your CX.....
