Terry, you've mentioned this opinion several times in previous postings.

Personally, I agree with you.

It is very expensive to buy new parts for old cars if you want to run. I guess it depends on how confident one is on used parts performing satisfactorily whilst running - especially if they involve drivetrains etc..On the other hand if you are a purist and want something almost new then you'll fork out the extra cash or buy a NIB kit for silly money.

I also think for a shelver one could refurb used parts and really limit NIP purchases. I've done it several times already!

I look forward to seeing this one come to fruition.
