The nano-tech batteries seem to be popular for club racers on a tight budget
If you want a quick car you may be better off with 8.5 or 6.5 as most of the fast lads are using. Ask on their forum.
Southport are now indoors for for the winter season although they have gone for Astroturf for the indoor track. Really kind on tires. First meeting last Sunday and got to say absolutely SUPERB
