Here's a sneek peek at some details you'll be getting at the club tomorrow:
Triple Crown details for the day Please find listed all the relative information and details you require for the first round of the Triple Crown Winter Series.
- Venue - Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Abbey Street, Faversham, Kent, me137bq, there will be yellow KCC signs to direct you, so please keep a look out.
- Time – gates will be open from 7am, please arrive as close to this time as possible
- Parking – on arrival you will be shown towards the parking area by the marshals
- Pitting – you will be shown to the entrance of the pitting hall which is separate from the hall where the track will be. At the door you will register your arrival with Jodie so we know that you are present, once inside the hall you will be shown to your pitting area, this is so we can fit you all in comfortably, so please go to where you are shown. If you would like to pit with friends please pre-arrange this before your arrival, and let us know when you arrive. You will require your own tables and chairs. We won’t have enough room for you to keep a 6ft table to yourself, so please share tables with your fellow racers.
- Charging – Where practical we would like to minimise the number of 12v supplies being used. This is to reduce the load on the ring main in the hall. Most 12v supplies are capable of running 2 or 3 chargers at the same time, so please share your 12v supplies with your pitting neighbour. Those of you who have 12 Volt batteries for charging are welcome to bring them. Those of you using mains power please bring your own extension leads and/or socket multi-way adaptors.
- Heat Listing – heat listings will be in place in the pitting hall for you to check all your details are correct.
- Track – the track hall will be closed to you when you arrive, to give the people building it the time and space they need, please bear with us on this one.
- Practicing – Timed practise will run in heat order, and starts at 8.30 sharp. Practise will be used to verify personal and handout transponder numbers so please make sure your PT is connected or you have a handout in.
- Driver’s Briefing – this will follow timed practise, where the rest of the day’s details will be given to you.
- Transmitter/Car Compound – drivers may not leave the track hall until they have marshalled. A transmitter/car pound will be provided for racers to use while they are marshalling. The pound must be used during practice, heats and finals.
