Default RAID setting and hard drives
Does anyone have any experience in this area.

I have recently invested in a SSD for my Operating System drive, but I also have a pair of SATA drives for software and media. The internet all seem to say that for my SSD I need to enable AHCI on the RAID controller to better performance.

I have no experience of RAID so can someone help?
