The shocks on my V3 aren't leaking and they were built with kit o-rings. Plenty of AE green slime is the key to a good shock build IMO.

Breakages wise, I have broken a front bulkhead and a front shock shaft (different times, unrelated incidents). I also had a drive shaft failure first time out but TD helped me sort this one.

Biggest problem I've had is wheels coming undone! I would recommend getting the alloy hexes from the off as I suspect the plastic ones can be slightly compressed which causes the nut to undo itself. I use the TD ones but hear good things about the Tresrey ones.

You can try and get threaded & serrated wheel nuts but the front need to be low profile or it wont fit the box.

I also have the alloy servo saver and an alloy servo horn. The former was recommended to me as a build time inclusion by CD @ TD and the latter was fitted after stripping the plastic one.

Otherwise, seems strong - much stronger than my previous 4wd (FS2).
