My son's car seems to be going through more than it's fair share of bearings on the slipper/layshaft assembly.... 4 pairs to be precise this season. The bearings keep collapsing and falling apart leading to a wobbly layshaft and then replacement spur gear and even idler gears on one occasion.

The slipper clutch is not overtight either - infact that likes to go through slipper pads quite a lot too.

Are there any decent aftermarket bearing sets available that may help to alleviate these problems??
